Damn Lottery

Posted by Aric on August 10th, 2004

Well, as you may have guessed, I/we didn’t win.. otherwise, I wouldn’t be here in Taiwan.. still.. anyhow, two people won, one down south and someone in Taipei.. a co-worker hit 4 out of 6 numbers (they play California ol’ skoo Lotto 6/49, pick 6, 1-49).. on our way to work this morning, the driver was talking about the lottery.. and he hit the nail on the head when he said “you buy a lottery ticket so you can dream”.. I had my car all picked out already too.. Mercedes Benz E55 (although I just read that when the new M5 comes out, MB is going to “surprise” BMW with their new E65)..

E55 and family..

Funny thing today.. well, I’m working on setting up a way to establish pricing by tester models.. testers, as in, a machine designed and manufactured for the sole purpose of testing. So we’ve been floating around some emails when all of a sudden.. today, I receive an email related to this topic from a “new comer” to this project..

Testes.. as in plural of testis (testis?? hmm).. reminds me of my days when I used to do a lot of system testing.. I’d create a bunch of junk in the system and try to destroy the system.. anytime there was an opportunity to enter some free text (like a purchase order field or a description field), I’d enter “testes 1 2 3.. testes 1 2 3.. test tickle test tickle test tickle”.. most people never got it though :cool:..
